Frequently asked questions
Divide the sale price by one minus the discount as a decimal — so a 25% discount means dividing by 0.75. That reverses the discount to find what the item cost before.
Discounts usually apply one after the other, not added together. A 20% then 10% discount is not 30% off — the second is taken from the already-reduced price, giving 28% off in total.
